Raleigh Radiology is a physician-owned and led subspecialty radiology group with over
50 board-certified radiologists serving the Triangle since 1950.
Raleigh Radiology is the Triangle’s longest-running independent imaging group,
providing outpatient imaging services across 9 locations throughout Wake County and
the surrounding areas. The practice is the imaging partner of WakeMed Health and
Hospitals across multiple hospitals and outpatient sites.
The group’s radiologists are fellowship- and subspecialty-trained across 11
subspecialties in total. Raleigh Radiology is one of the largest physician-owned imaging
networks in North Carolina and continues to invest in advanced technology, including
AI-assisted workflow tools and the Whole Body Wellness program launched in 2024. In
2007, they launched their Vascular and Interventional Clinic, offering vein treatments
and interventional procedures.
Raleigh Radiology offers flexibility in work models, including on-site, hybrid, and remote
opportunities across its outpatient and hospital sites. Many physicians practice in
established on-site and remote rotations, as well as optional internal moonlighting.
Radiologist benefits include a starting partner salary of $525,000, a two-year path to
partnership, 10 weeks of paid vacation annually, and flexible physician scheduling.
Physicians are also eligible to participate in the practice’s retirement plan with match,
receive a comprehensive employee benefits package, and have the opportunity to pick
up additional shifts.
